American Senior Communities Joins with Main Event as “Preferred Partner”

American Senior Communities long had offered branding and merchandising services for its conglomerate of senior housing communities.

But they wanted to get better.

They wanted an improved on-line store, improved customer service and an improved warehousing/storage options.

Enter Main Event Merchandise Group.

American Senior Communities, a conglomeration of communities providing seniors throughout Indiana lifestyle choices with integrated services and amenities, has partnered with Main Event, the organizations announced recently.

“We are very happy to be with them,” said Sherri Davies, Marketing Manager for American Senior Communities. “The website is the neatest feature, I believe. That component everyone is excited about.

“We’ve been working with them a couple of months and so far, everybody is pleased.”

Main Event, an Indianapolis, Ind.-based, nationally-known merchandise company, will provide American Senior Communities with “preferred partner” services, including an online store, online catalogues, company uniforms and corporate promotions.

Main Event, a provider for logoed apparel, corporate merchandise, sourcing, fulfillment and e-commerce, will serve as a branding component for American Senior Communities’ 38 locations around the state of Indiana.

“It’s an extremely large deal for us and a great opportunity,” Main Event President Brian Fahle said. “We are now fulfilling all of their different sites with promotional items and apparel and more.

“They’ve had multiple vendors in the past and we hope to continue handling their needs.”

Davies said Main Event’s cutting-edge on-line stores provide convenience and efficiency to the process of branding and merchandising American Senior Communities.

“The website makes it nice to review the options,” Davies said. “It’s nice and handy just to go look at the information and options on the website.”

Main Event also has provided American Senior Communities warehousing options that provide significant flexibility and savings, Davies said.

“If we do bulk orders, they’re willing to warehouse part of the stock and that’s very helpful,” Davies said. “That’s very important to us. It allows us to buy a higher quantity at a lower price and not have to worry about storage.

“Main Event has done a nice job with customer services, so we’re very pleased with hat aspect. They bring a higher level of customer service. The setup is similar to what we had. Main Event just does it better.”
